SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — The Skidmore College men's basketball team could not find the answers on the road against Union College in a 93-45 Liberty League loss Friday night.

The Thoroughbreds drop to 6-14 and 5-8 in league play, while the Dutchmen move to 12-7 and 9-4.

Greg Skoric led Skidmore with 11 points and six rebounds.
Ty Lamport contributed 10 points and seven rebounds.

Jackson Mannix led Union with 14 points, while Kevin Jefferson finished with 12. Rhona Eseyade led in the paint with seven rebounds.

The Thoroughbreds trailed from the beginning, going into the half down 45-22.

Union outscored Skidmore 48-23. Union shot 69.2% from three and 62.5% from the field to secure the 93-45 victory.

"Disappointing loss to say the least," said Skidmore coach
Joe Burke. "We had a tough week physically and we sure as heck looked like that was the case. Didn't fight through things like I expect us to. There is not much else that needs to be said. We have to turn the page and get a win tomorrow."

The Thoroughbreds travel to Bard College Saturday to face the Raptors in a Liberty League game at 4 p.m.
