CANTON, N.Y. – The Skidmore College men's basketball team's comeback fell just short in a 66-63 Liberty League loss at St. Lawrence Saturday.

Â
Riley Greene led Skidmore with 15 points and two steals.
Harrison Eichelberger came off the bench to score 14 points and pull down seven rebounds.
Ty Lamport added 10 points.
Â
The Saints had four players score double digits, led by Luke Hicks with 17 points.
Skidmore went into the half with a narrow 31-30 lead. The teams battled back and forth in the second half, but ultimately a few good St. Lawrence free throws secured the 66-63 victory for the Saints.
Â
"Part of growing up and being a championship team is learning how to win two games back to back on the road." Said head coach
Joe Burke, "You have to be mentally and physically tougher than your opponent on Saturday.
"All our championship teams had that and hopefully this group learned a good lesson today. We will get better from it."
The Thoroughbreds return home for more Liberty League action Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. to face Vassar College.
