BROOKLYN, N.Y.— The Skidmore College volleyball team ran into two tough opponents on Saturday, losing to Stockton and host NYU on the final day of the NYU Invitational at the Brooklyn Athletic Center.
The 2-4 Thoroughbreds lost 3-1(23-25, 25-23, 25-3, 25-14) to 5-1 Stockton and 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-16) to 6-0 NYU.
Frida Anguiano had a team-high 12 digs against Stockton, while
Katy Ehnstrom added 10 kills and two blocks.
In the NYU match, Anguiano had another 10 digs and two aces.
Audrey Powell posted 14 assists and five digs.
Bella Klosterman had eight digs, four kills and two aces.
Skidmore takes on Plattsburgh Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. in the Union College Tournament.
