BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Springfield College improved to 4-0 with a 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-16, 25-11) win over Skidmore College in the NYU Invitational being played at the Brooklyn Athletic Center.

The loss drops the Thoroughbreds to 2-2.

Lily Fitzgerald and Lauren Wolters had double/doubles for Skidmore. Fitzgerald totaled team highs with 14 assists and 14 digs. Wolters added 11 assists and 10 digs.

Katy Ehnstrom contributed 11 kills, while Sophia Hettler had 10 digs, three assists, and five kills.

Skidmore continues play on Saturday against Stockton at 10 a.m. and NYU at 12 p.m.
