ITHACA, N.Y.—Defending Liberty League volleyball champion Ithaca College beat Skidmore 3-0 (25-10, 25-22, 25-14) Saturday afternoon in Ben Light Gymnasium.

The Thoroughbreds are 6-7 overall and 1-1 in league play, while the Bombers rise to 10-5 and 2-0.

Elizabeth Miller had a career high 13 digs for Skidmore. Lauren Wolters had 17 assists and seven digs, while Alex Esty recorded four blocks and two digs. Lily Fitzgerald added three aces and six digs.

Skidmore has its first home match of the season Oct. 2 when the Thoroughbreds host Union College in a Liberty League match at 7 p.m.
