FT. MYERS, Fla.—The Skidmore College baseball team posted a 10-2, 9-2 sweep of Lakeland College, Wednesday afternoon.
 
The wins move the Thoroughbreds to 4-3, while Lakeland drops to 0-5.
 
In the first game, Pat Geiger went 2-4 with two doubles and four RBI. He broke the game open with a three-run double in a four run sixth inning. 
Briston Maynard was 1-1 with two runs and three walks. 
Christian Italiano went 1-3 with three RBI.
 
Will Potter was efficient on the mound. He allowed two runs on seven hits with two strikeouts.
 
The second game went the same way. The Thoroughbreds scored four runs in the second inning to take control early. 
Jake Hardy went 1-2 with a two-run single in the sixth. 
Sean Lang was 2-2 with two runs. 
Matt Chipkin went 1-2 with a run, two walks, and three stolen bases.
 
Spencer Meyer picked up the win, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits over six innings. He also had five strikeouts with no walks.
 
Skidmore's Florida trip continues Friday with single game against Rockland.
