SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team posted an efficient 3-0 (25-11, 25-18, 25-20) win over Lasell University in the opening round of the Skidmore Classic Friday night at the Williamson Center.

The win pulls the Thoroughbreds over .500 with an 8-7 record. The Wildcats are 4-12. Tournament play continues Saturday with Skidmore playing Sage at 10 a.m. and Lasell playing Sage at 12 p.m. The 2 p.m. contest will be a Skidmore-Lasell rematch.

Bella Klosterman had a career-high 10 digs for the Thoroughbreds.
Elizabeth Miller added 10 digs of her own.
Alex Estey had three blocks, seven kills, and an ace.
Audrey Powell (15) and Lauron Wolters (13) combined for 28 assists.
