SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team went 2-0 on the second day of the Skidmore Classic to win the event with a 3-0 record.

The Thoroughbreds opened the day with a 3-0 (25-16, 25-9, 25-12) win over Sage and came back for a 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-12) win against Lasell.

The Thoroughbreds have won four straight for a 10-7 record. Sage is 4-16 and Lasell is 5-16.

Against Sage,
Alex Estey had a team-high 11 kills to go along with two blocks, two aces and three digs.
Frida Anguiano had 10 digs.
Jessica Shulman added eight assists and a team-high four aces.

The Thoroughbreds were able to utilize the roster in the Lasell win
Sophia Hettler had 11 kills, 13 digs and four aces to lead the way. Estey added 10 kills and six blocks, while
Elizabeth Miller chipped in 14 digs.
Olivia Knowlton contributed four blocks.

Skidmore travels to Middlebury College on Oct. 9 for a 7 p.m. contest.
