SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team is off to a 2-0 Liberty League start with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-22) win over Bard College Saturday evening at the Williamson Center.

The Thoroughbreds are 10-4 overall and tied with Ithaca and RIT for first place after the opening weekend of league play. The Raptors are 4-9 and 0-2.

Katy Ehnstrom dominated the court for Skidmore. The talented junior middle hitter set a program hitting percentage record with .813, breaking the previous mark of .800 set in 2006. She had 13 kills in 18 attempts to go along with two aces and a block.

Caite Canfield added 14 digs and seven kills, while
Allie Dillon had 11 digs.
Lauren Wolters (20) and
Lily Fitzgerald (13) combined for 33 assists.

Skidmore will take a break from league play to host the Skidmore Classic Sept. 28-29. The Thoroughbreds play College of New Rochelle at 4 p.m. Sept. 28 and St. John Fisher College at 8 p.m.
