UTICA, N.Y.—The Skidmore College women's lacrosse team continued to roll through its nonconference scheduled with an 18-5 win at Utica College Thursday evening.

The Thoroughbreds are off to a 3-0 start and have outscored opponents 47-11. The Pioneers are 1-1.

Cas Szwajkowski led the way for Skidmore with four goals.
Natalie LaBeau and
Emily Hirsch had three goals and an assist each. Hirsch also had four draws, three caused turnovers and four ground balls.
Abby Sanford and
Shelby Boland each added two goals.
Lilla Seymour contributed a goal and two assists, while
Mac Dill,
Anna Boogaerts, and
Gianna Muscari had solo goals.

Skidmore wasted no time getting on the board.
Teyana Daley won the opening draw and got the ball to Szwajkowski who found the back of the net at 29:11. Utica tied it at 24:47, but the Thoroughbreds scored the next seven goals on the way to a 13-3 lead at the half. Szwajkowski had three of the goals in the 7-0 run, while LaBeau scored twice with Hirsch and Seymour scoring once each.

Skidmore control the pace of the second half, outscoring the Pioneers 5-2.

The Thoroughbreds outshot Utica 39-18 and had a 16-9 draw advantage.
