ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y.—Another walk off win and a comfortable second game victory gave the Skidmore College baseball team a 2-1, 11-1 Liberty League sweep over Bard College Friday afternoon. The teams will complete the weekend series at 12 p.m. Saturday at Bard.

The Thoroughbreds are 8-7 and 3-3 in Liberty League play. The Raptors are 6-9 and 0-2.

In the first game,
Will Potter drilled a two-out single to left field in the bottom of the ninth to plate
Jake Hardy with the winning run. Hardy opened the ninth with a full count single. He moved to second on a
Nate Scheinman bunt. He later moved to third on a two-out double steal to set up Potter's game winner.

Hardy drove in DH Pat Geiger for the first run with a single in the fourth inning.

Hardy (2-4), Geiger (2-4), and
Nick Fronte (2-3) had two hit games for the Thoroughbreds.
Tim Allen (2-0) got the win in relief. He tossed 1.2 scoreless innings. Starter
Spencer Anderson went 5.2 innings, allowing one unearned run on six hits with two walks and six strikeouts. Jordan Kaiser also had 1.2 innings of scoreless relief.

Skidmore controlled the second game from the start. The Thoroughbreds led 11-0 after three innings and a six-run second inning. Starter
Jacob Berish (3-1) pitched five strong innings, allowing one earned run on five hits, two walks, and three strike outs.
Jack Walter and
James Kilzer combined two innings of shutout relief.

Geiger went 3-4 with a triple and four RBI.
Hayden Smith was 1-2 with a double and two RBI, while Sean Klier was 1-3 with a two-run double.

The two teams are back at it Saturday at Bard with a pair that starts at 12 p.m.
