FT. MYERS, Fla.—The Skidmore College baseball team dropped a 15-3 decision to Division II St. Michael's College Thursday.
The loss drops the Thoroughbreds to 3-3, while the Purple Knights move to 4-8.
St. Michael's pounded out 19 hits and took advantage of seven Skidmore errors in the contest.
For the Thoroughbreds,
Matt Chipkin was 0-2 with a run and an RBI after drawing a bases loaded walk.
Sam Browning and
Nate Scheinman were both 1-1.
Jake Hardy was 1-4 with an RBI.
Starter
Jacob Berish took the loss, he allowed seven runs (two earned) on eight hits in 2.2 innings of work.
Skidmore takes on Alfred State on March 16 at 12 p.m.
