SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams open their home schedules Saturday at 1 p.m. against Liberty League rival Union College.

The men are 2-1, while the women are 1-2.

For the men,
Hiro Kamei and
Andrew Klein had impressive wins in a loss to Vassar. Kamei swept the breaststroke, winning the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:14.28. He also touched first in the 100-yard event by a narrow margin, racing to a time of 1:00.06. He completed the day with a second-place performance in the 200-yard IM, finishing in 2:06.40.

Klein swept the diving events, scoring 208.20 on the 1-meter dive and 193.72 on the 3-meter event.

On the women's side, diver
Hannah Krall had a solid afternoon on the boards, picking up victories for against Vassar in the 1- and 3-meter dives. At 1-meter, she finished with 157.35 points and scored 184.50 in the 3-meter event.

This will be the first of two straight Saturday home meets for the Thoroughbreds. Utica is in town Nov. 17 for a 1 p.m. meet.
