Day 2 results

ITHACA, N.Y.— Ryan Delfico won the men's 400IM in record time to lead the Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams on the second day of the Liberty League championships. The meet is being held at the Ithaca College Kelsey Partridge Bird Natatorium. The men are in fourth, while the women are fifth with two days to go.

• Delfico continued his assault on the program record book with a record 4:02.83 in the 400 IM. He set the mark earlier this season, cutting nearly seven seconds of his 4:09.65 standard set in December.
• Gretchen Gwitt broke the 100 fly record with a 57.56 to take fourth, just in front of teammate Kelly Hsu who was sixth (57.67). Only 1.04 seconds separated 1^st and 6^th.
• Nicolas Sodi broke his own 200 free record in the prelims (1:41.05) and came back to finish third in the finals in 1:41.23.
• Brendan Lu lowered his 100 fly record with a 51.46 to finish 12^th.
• The women's 200 free relay of Faye Mooney, Emily Booth, Elissa Miller, and Gwitt finished seventh in 1:41.49. The men's 200 free relay of Sodi, Liam Keating, Owen Magoon, and Jonah Vaynshtok was sixth (1:26.27)
• The men's 400 medley relay took third (3:27.31) behind the efforts of Delfico, Keating, Lu, and Sodi. The women's 400 medley relay of Ella Palmet, Mooney, Gwitt, and Hsu was fifth (4:01.37).
