Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SPRINGFIELD, Mass.—The Skidmore College volleyball team went 1-1 to finish 2-1 at the Springfield Invitational Saturday at Springfield College.
 
The Thoroughbreds (2-1) opened the day with a 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 28-26, 25-21) win over Endicott College and then lost a tight 3-1 (23-25, 23-25, 26-24, 24-26) match to Rivier College.
 
Bailey Hutchins was selected to the All-Tournament Team. She had 22 kills, 11 digs, and two blocks in the Endicott win and 10 kills, three aces, eight digs, 12 assists, and two blocks against Rivier.
 
Katy Ehnstrom had 11 kills and three blocks vs. Endicott and 17 kills and three  blocks in the Rivier match. Allie Dillon combined for 29 digs in the two matches, while Caite Canfield added 12 kills and 11 digs against Rivier. Lauren Wolters totaled 73 assists for the day.
 
Skidmore takes on Oneonta next at the Union Tournament on Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.
