The Thoroughbreds drop to 1-2, while the Cardinals are 2-0.

Cody Legeza had two goals each to lead Skidmore.Â
Will Lukas contributed two assists and
Chris Melligon had a solo goal.

Ryan Hubbard led Plattsburgh with five goals and an assist.

Halloran scored the game's first goal at 8:17 of the first quarter from Lukas. The Cardinals scored the next nine goals to break it open 9-1.

Skidmore outshot Plattsburgh 37-32.
