SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women's lacrosse team wraps up its road swing on Saturday, travelling into Massachusetts to take on Mount Holyoke in a 12 p.m. start.

Skidmore (3-3) comes into the matchup after dropping a hard-fought contest to No. 18 Hamilton by an 8-4 score on Tuesday. The Thoroughbreds have alternated wins and losses through the first six contests and are looking for their first true road victory of the season.

The Thoroughbreds are led by sophomore attacker Cas Szwajkowski, who is one of the nation's leading goal scorers. Szwajkowski is 25th in all of Division III with her 4.33 points per game. She has 26 goals to go along with three assists for 28 points. Szwajkowski was honored on Monday as the Liberty League's Offensive Performer of the Week after an nine-goal, two-assist performance over a two-game stretch.

The Thoroughbreds also have balance on offense, with nine different players scoring three or more goals on the season. Tyler Phillips is second with eight goals and Natalie LaBeau has five to go along with her team-leading five assists. Junior goalie Megan Kolopsky has been solid on the other end. The netminder has a solid 10.23 goals against average and a .451 save percentage in six starts, where she's gone 3-2.

NEWMAC member Mount Holyoke comes into the contest with a 2-4 record, notching two wins in a row after an 0-4 start. The Lyons last played on Wednesday, a come-from-behind 14-13 victory at Western New England University.

The Lyons have four double-digit scorers over the first six games, led by Charlotte Wagner's 22 points on 20 goals and two assists. Kaitlin Braz is second in scoring (18) and leads the team with seven assists. Leila Kouakou is second on the team with 13 goals to go along with her two assists, and Mary LaVigne rounds out the pack with eight goals and two assists for 10 points.

Mount Holyoke alternates their goalies. Isa Rodriguez has started in a majority of the games in goal, with a 13.02 goals against average and a .413 save percentage in four starts to go with the 1-2 record. Mia Wysocki has played in five games, making two starts, and also has a 1-2 record with a 11.06 goals against average and a .473 save percentage.

The last time the two squads played was on March 26, 2016. Skidmore rode a big first half to an 18-9 victory on home turf. The Thoroughbreds have won the last three games of the all-time series.
