SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Skidmore College and the women's lacrosse program will host an American Red Cross blood drive on Friday, Sept. 25, in loving memory of Skidmore graduate Lilly Kishore.
 
The blood drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the IM/Dance Gym at Skidmore College, 815 N. Broadway.
 
Members of the Skidmore community and the surrounding area are encouraged to donate and help continue Kishore's spirit of giving by paying it forward to others in need.
 
Appointments can be scheduled at RedCrossBlood.org using the sponsor keyword SKIDMORE, by calling 1-800-RED CROSS, or through the American Red Cross Blood Donor App.
 
According to the American Red Cross, someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds. Donors who give between Sept. 21 and Oct. 18 will also receive a $15 e-gift card as part of a Red Cross promotion.
