ROCHESTER, NY – The No. 2 RIT (11-0, 4-0 Liberty League) men's lacrosse team defeated Skidmore College (5-6, 1-2 Liberty League) 15-4 in Liberty League action from RIT's Turf Field Saturday afternoon.

With the win the Tigers have now won 51 straight regular season games dating back to the 2013 season.
RIT led 6-0 after the first quarter, and 9-1 at halftime. The Tigers extended their lead to 12-2 after the third quarter, and out-scored the Thoroughbreds 3-2 in the fourth quarter to go on to the 11-goal win.

Jack Curry, R.J. Caruso,
Cody Legeza and
Brendan Halloran each scored a goal for the Thoroughbreds, and
Kevin Mulvey had an assist.
Ryan Warnock held his own by winning eight of 17 face offs and grabbing five ground balls.
Jack Howat,
Logan Hart, and
Will Murphy had four ground balls each.

Chris Baughan took the loss in net, despite making 17 saves.

RIT held a 46-26 shot advantage, and won the ground ball battle 40-32.
RIT took control from the opening quarter, out scoring the Thoroughbreds 6-0. The Tigers extended the lead to 8-0 before Caruso got Skidme on the scoreboard on his goal with 3:52 to play in the opening half.
The Tigers scored two more before Legeza tallied Skidmore's second goal at the 11:36 mark of the quarter, to cut the lead to 10-2.

Jack Curry scored consecutive goals in the fourth quarter to round out the Thoroughbred scoring.
