SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College women's lacrosse team will look to move into playoff contention Friday night when the Thoroughbreds host Rensselaer in a 7 p.m. game.

The Thoroughbreds (5-6, 2-2 Liberty League) are in a three-way St. Lawrence (6-6, 2-2) and RPI (6-4, 2-2) for fourth place with five league games to play.

Tyler Phillips leads Skidmore in scoring with 32 goals and 10 assists for 42 points. She also leads the team in caused turnovers and draw controls.Â
Cas Szwajkowski has 28 goals, while
Marisa Caponi had 14 goals and seven assists.

Rachel Talanian leads the Liberty League in ground balls per game (3.73) and is second to Phillips in draws with 2.27 per game.

Megan Kolopsky is fourth in the league in goals against (8.43) and save percentage (.475).

Sophie Hager (16-6—22) and Mackenzie O'Neil (16-5—21) lead the Engineers in scoring.

 Aleena Milinski (8.99 GAA, .395 save%) and Rebecca Wilen (10.90 GAA, .443 save%) split time in net for RPI.
