BABSON PARK, Mass.—The Skidmore College women's lacrosse team rallied late from five goals down, but fell just short, 11-10 in a non-league game against Babson College.

The Thoroughbreds are 1-1, while the Beavers start 1-0.

Tyler Phillips scored five goals and
Cas Szwajkowski added four to lead Skidmore. The five goals moved Phillips past the 100 career goal mark, with 103. She's the 14th Skidmore player to reach 100.
Natalie LaBeau had the other goal. Phillips also had three ground balls, four draw controls, and four caused turnovers.
Gianna Muscari contributed four ground balls and four caused turnovers.
Rachel Talanian had a team-high seven ground balls

McKenzie Tucci scored three goals and had an assist for Babson.

Babson held a narrow 6-5 led at the half then scored five of the next six goals to open an 11-6 lead with 9:35 to play. Skidmore responded by scoring the game's final four goals to cut it to 11-10.

Phillips scored on a free position at 8:14, Szwajkowski scored free position goals at 3:34 and :54, then Phillips scored her ninth of the season with 21 seconds to play.

Megan Kolopsky had 10 saves in goal for the Thoroughbreds.
