SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Big Green Scream is back this Saturday (Feb. 13) when the Skidmore College men's and women's basketball teams host Vassar College.

The women's game tips at 2 p.m., while the men's game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

The 9th Annual Big Green Scream will feature a 32-inch Smart TV giveaway, free t-shirts to the first 250 fans at both games, plus dozens of additional in-game prizes, performances by several of Skidmore's top performance groups, and special activities for children.

The event is part of Senior Cord, giving attending seniors credit to their unique graduation cord. The Big Green Scream is sponsored by Skidmore Athletics, Friends of Skidmore Athletics, Office of Alumni Relations, Sustainable Skidmore, Residential Life, College Events, and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Both teams are fighting to make the Liberty League tournament. The women are 12-9 overall and 6-6 in Liberty League play.
Kelly Donnelly '18 is strong Player of the Year candidate with 17.7 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.

The men are 12-8 and 7-5 in conference.
Erik Sanders '16 and
Edvinas Rupkus '19 lead the team in scoring. Sanders is averaging 16.7 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Rupkus is the league's top freshman with 16.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

The teams close out the regular season at home on Feb. 21 against St. Lawrence at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
