Clarkson comes back to edge Skidmore, 69-65

Box Score POTSDAM, N.Y.—Liberty League leader Clarkson University scored the game's final 10 points on the way to a 69-65 women's basketball win over Skidmore College Friday night.
 
The Thoroughbreds drop to 13-11 and 7-8 in Liberty League play. The Golden Knights clinch the regular-season title at 20-5 and 13-3.
 
Kelly Donnelly led three Skidmore players in double figures. She registered her eighth straight double/double with 15 points and 16 rebounds to go along with five assists and a block. Veronica Moceri scored 12 points and Amber Holgate added 10.
 
Clarkson scored 30 points off 25 Skidmore turnovers.
 
A pair of Haley English free throws gave the Thoroughbreds a 65-59 lead with 1:19 to play. Clarkson then used a 10-0 run to close out the game.
 
Skidmore will wrap the season at home on Sunday at 2 p.m. against St. Lawrence.
