SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team opened Skidmore Invitational play with a 3-0 (25-19. 25-16. 27-25) win over SUNY Potsdam, Friday night at the Williamson Center.
 
The Thoroughbreds hit the .500 mark with the win at 15-15. Skidmore will close out the tournament and the season on Saturday against Geneseo (10 a.m.) and New Paltz (2 p.m.).
 
Katy Ehnstrom has a team-high 12 kills. Caite Canfield contributed 13 digs and four aces. Lauren Wolters (19) and Bailey Hutchins (18) combined for 37 assists. Wolters added four aces, while Hutchins had three. Skidmore totaled 17 aces for the match.
 
Allie Dillon (17) and Marcela Familiar (11) totaled 28 digs.
