SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—The Skidmore College volleyball team split matches on the final day of the Skidmore Invitational.
The Thoroughbreds lost the morning match to Geneseo 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-22) then came back to beat SUNY New Paltz 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-17).
Skidmore finishes the season at 16-16.
Katy Ehnstrom and
Bailey Hutchins were selected to the All-Tournament for the Thoroughbreds.
Against Geneseo, Ehnstrom had a team-high 10 kills and .625 hitting percentage. Hutchins racked-up another double/double with 17 assists, 10 digs, and six kills.
Allie Dillon just missed a double/double of her own with 10 digs and nine kills.
Caite Canfield added 13 digs, seven kills, and two aces.
Lauren Wolters contributed 17 assists.
In the New Paltz match, Hutchins had 13 assists, six kills, eight digs and one ace. Ehnstrom had a team-high five blocks to go along with eight kills. Canfield totaled 12 kills and 15 digs, while Marcela Familiar closed out her collegiate career with 11 digs. Wolters had 16 assists and Dillon added 11 digs.
