"I'm very proud of the resiliency that our guys showed tonight," said Skidmore head coach
Patrick Hart. "We had a tough loss in league on Saturday and it was great to see our young men rebound the way that they did against a very good Castleton State team. Our senior leadership deserves a lot of credit for keeping the guys focused on the next game and putting forth a great effort.
"In terms of the game, it all got triggered by our ride and ground ball play. Â We did a great job of causing turnovers on the ride which earned us extra opportunities on the offensive end. Our offense was unselfish and disciplined all night and we were able to finish the chances we got. It's great to get some momentum going into a big league game on Saturday up at Clarkson."

The Thoroughbreds go on the road to take on Clarkson at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 11.
