CANTON, N.Y.—
Spencer Morgan scored her fifth goal of the game in sudden death overtime to give the Skidmore College women's lacrosse team a 14-13 2OT Liberty League win Friday afternoon.

The Thoroughbreds have won three straight to move to 8-3 overall and 3-1 in league play. The Saints drop to 2-8 and 0-4.

After giving up the game's first goal, Skidmore scored six straight to take a 6-1 lead. Morgan and
Tyler Phillips had two goals each in the run. After another SLU goal, Paige D'Antonio and Morgan tacked on two more tallies to give the Thoroughbreds an 8-2 lead at the break.

The Saints stormed back in the second half, outscoring Skidmore 10-3 to take a 12-11 lead with 3:30 to play in regulation.Â
Emma Harris tied it with 2:32 to play to force the overtime.

The teams traded goals in the first overtime stanza with Phillips scoring her 37
th of the season to send the game into sudden death overtime.

Morgan converted a free position goal with 1:21 left in the second overtime for the win.

In addition to her five goals, Morgan contributed a ground ball, two caused turnovers, and a draw control. Phillips finished with five goals, an assist, and four draw controls. Harris had two goals, and
Rachel Talanian had six draw controls.

The teams had 30 shots each, with
Megan Kolopsky credited with nine saves for the Thoroughbreds.

Skidmore continues its North Country Liberty League trip on Saturday against Clarkson University.
