SCOUTING THE THOROUGHBREDS (9-13, 0-2 Liberty League): Skidmore rebounded from a pair of losses at RPI with a sweep of MCLA on Thursday. The Thoroughbreds notched a 7-6 win in nine innings in game one before rolling to an 8-1 win in game two.Â
Lizette Roman-Johnston was 4-for-6 for the series with four runs scored and an RBI. In game two,
Lauren Fortunato powered the offense, going 3-for-3 with a homerun, three RBI and two runs scored, while
Casey Attonito recorded her first collegiate homerun. The Thoroughbreds are 9-1 when scoring five or more runs.

Dani DeGregory notched her league-leading fourth triple in game two. She leads the conference with nine stolen bases and sits second in the conference with five doubles and eighth with a .545 slugging percentage. Amanda Carilli has pitched a conference-high 79 innings, ranking seventh with a 3.46 ERA.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS (9-3, 0-0 Liberty League): St. Lawrence posted a win its last game, beating Fredonia, 4-1. The Saints have not played a game in over three weeks, as weather has kept the Saints off the field since March 20. St. Lawrence is scheduled to host Clarkson on Saturday.

Two rookies have been the driving force behind the Saints offense this season. Freshman catcher Emma Reakes is batting .313 and has produced a team-high two homeruns and nine RBI to go along with a team-best .531 slugging percentage, while freshman outfielder Kylee Knight has swiped seven bases and ranks second on the team with a .447 batting average, a .488 slugging percentage, and a .488 on-base percentage. Senior pitcher Kyle Plimpton has thrown 61 of 76 innings, appearing in all 11 games with eight starts. She has struck out a conference-best 80 batters and ranks third in the league with a 1.49 ERA and a .211 opponent batting average.
