Box Score CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.—The Skidmore College women's basketball team notched its third consecutive win with a 96-74 non-league victory over Pine Manor College on Friday night. The Thoroughbreds improve to 3-1, while the Gators go to 1-3.
Kelly Donnelly recorded her third straight double-double, leading Skidmore with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Kayla Mitchell and
Taylor Ong had career days, each contributing 11 points.
Alexis Lee had a game-high 19 points and six assists for Pine Manor, going 5-for-23 from the field. Sybil Lynch had 16 points, and Erica Jones chipped in with 12 points, nine boards, four steals and three assists.
Skidmore was 34-for-72 (47.2%) from the field, while Pine Manor was 27-for-73 (37.0%). The Thoroughbreds had a 45-33 edge in rebounds.
"Pine Manor is a tough place to play and they have a really good team," said Skidmore head coach
Darren Bennett. "If they had a little more depth there no doubt they could have made tonight's game closer. They have very strong guard play, they are very well-coached, they work hard and they play hard. Their schedule is very challenging but they can definitely make the NCAA tournament again this year.
"I was proud of the way we were able to keep coming in waves with fresh legs. Our depth showed tonight and we were able to get to the free throw line and make a lot of free points from there.
"We have a very, very, very long way to go in our defense and rebounding at both ends of the floor. Rebounding especially is an effort thing. The easiest thing in the game is offensive rebounding and we are not great at that. That's a hunger our young team has to get. We don't have that need or passion to stop the other team from getting another shot and we don't have the feeling of needing to get another shot for ourselves by offensive rebounding or getting the loose ball or by getting an errant pass. That's the kind of toughness we are going to need to get better.
"Tonight was a solid win for us and it was great for out Massachusetts kids to get back home and play. Our families, alum and friends travel well. They made tonight's game feel like a home game. We appreciate them."
Skidmore continues its Massachusetts trip Saturday, Nov. 21 at Emmanuel College.
