ECAC Release

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.—Skidmore College men's tennis junior Kai Yuen Leung has been selected as the Corvias ECAC Division III Player of the Month, the conference announced Monday.
 
Yuen Leung did not drop a set in five matches at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Champioships, en route to the singles title. In the championship match he knocked off the tournament's top seed, Matt Heinrich of Stevens, 7-5, 6-2. Leung also paired with Nick Tong to win the doubles title, defeating teams from RPI, Rochester, Hobart, Stevens and Vassar.
 
The championship wins qualify Leung and the team of Leung and Tong for the USTA/ITA Small College National Championships to be played Oct. 15-18 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
