"
This was a strong week and weekend for our team," said Skidmore head coach Darren Bennett. "We had a lot of unusual travel and days off mixed in with games in Puerto Rico and then we opened up league play with not as much preparation as we'd normally ge, so being able to start league play 2-0 is great for us."Our team is finding its stride and continuing to come together in every way. Different players are stepping up and maintaining a consistent high level of play. We are getting good things from our non-starters and their contributions are making great things happen for us."We still have a lot of work to do on recognizing personnel from the opposing teams, rebounding and from the free throw line but I like what our team is doing."Skidmore travels to Hartwick for its final non-conference game of the regular season Tuesday, Jan. 6.
