Clark had several near misses in the final minutes, but Skidmore goalie
Matt Diaco hung tough to preserve the win.
Â
Diaco turned back 10 shots to earn the victory, while Mulvey and Hawkins each scored a pair of goals in their key second quarter run.
Â
"I'm proud of the effort our guys gave on the defensive end to get our first win of the season," Hart said. "We played a well-coached team in Clark that controlled pace of play in the second half. Our defense and goalie
Matt Diaco, stood tall with some big stops and penalty kills.
Â
"We have to continue to improve our clearing and riding games and get more consistency out of our offensive production before a big non-conference game on Tuesday versus Hamilton and the start of Liberty League play."
