ResultsSARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted Oneonta in their first home meet of the season, Friday evening at the Williamson Sports Center.
The men were defeated 143-83, while the women were knocked off 147-67.
Nick Sauerbrunn paced the men's team, winning the 500 free for the second consecutive meet and placing third in the 200 free (1:51.68).
Gabriel Salitan-Alvarez dropped more than 20 seconds off his lifetime best time in a second-place finish in the 1000 free. Senior diver
Jacob Nathan had another strong outing, winning the 3-meter event with an NCAA qualifying score of 306.30. He scored 249.45 in the 1-meter event, placing second.

Emily Przysinda led the women's team, finishing second in the 200 free (2:10.24) and the 500 free (5:42.33).
Kate Lambos added a second-place finish in the 1000 Free (11:42.47),
Yookee Roh was second in the 50 Free (27.06) and
Erin Donovan touched in second in the 100 back (1:07.29).

"Our team swam a deep, fast SUNY Oneonta program tonight," said Skidmore head coach
Jill Belding Greenleaf. "While the team score doesn't reflect it, the Thoroughbred competed very well. Many swims were season bests, and our swimmers raced with lots of intensity." Â

The Thoroughbreds host the College of Saint Rose at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.
