Box Score CLINTON, N.Y.-- The Skidmore College women's basketball team came from behind for a 77-67 nonleague win over Hamilton College, Monday.

Skidmore (1-3) outscored Hamilton (2-3) 15-2 over the final 2:42 of overtime, sealing the win by converting six of eight free throws in the last 34 seconds. 

Molly McLaughlin put the Thoroughbreds up 69-67, giving them the lead for good, on a jumper with 58 seconds to go; Skidmore forced a turnover on the ensuing possession then extended their advantage to 
five points when Migle Vilunaite made a free throw, rebounded her own miss of the second attempt and fed Angela Bobita for a lay-up. Lindsey Davis sealed Skidmore's victory by going five for six from the line on the Thoroughbreds' last three possessions.

Skidmore's first lead of the game came on a McLaughlin lay-up with 70 seconds remaining in regulation. Samantha Graber, who led all scorers with a career-best 28 points, tied the score 16 seconds later; the Thoroughbreds turned the ball over on their last possession of regulation but the Continentals missed three shots in the last 20 seconds to send the game to an extra period.

Graber added eight rebounds and a pair of steals.

Jordyn Wartts led Skidmore with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Bobita pulled down 10 rebounds, helping the Thoroughbreds to a 50-40 advantage. Lindsey Davis '15 scored 15 points.

The Thoroughbreds were held to just 15 points over the first 15:11 of the game before their press sparked a rally that cut Hamilton's 30-15 lead to six points with 1:50 to go before intermission. The Continentals built their lead up as high as nine points in the second half before Wartts scored seven six during an 8-0 Skidmore run that pulled the visitors to within a point with seven minutes left.

Ella Scheurell '16 contributed nine rebounds and eight points off the Skidmore bench.

"The team put together a complete effort for the entire game,: said Skidmore coach Darren Bennett.  "We had a little trouble with their three balls in the first half and defensive rebounding. But in the second half the team came out and focused in their assignments and it paid off versus a strong Hamilton team. I am excited for the team and the way we continue to grow."
