Box Score MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Skidmore College volleyball team lost 3-1 (25-12, 25-9, 17-25, 25-16) to Middlebury College in non-league action, Wednesday night.

The Panthers improved to 13-1, while the Thoroughbreds are 7-11.

After losing the first two sets, Skidmore took the third set. Down 9-8, the Thoroughbreds went on a 7-2 run to take a 15-11 lead on the way to forcing a fourth set, 25-17.                      

Corinne Palmer led Skidmore with 11 kills and two blocks, while Aria Goodman had 10 kills and eight digs. Emma Wilberg earned 30 assists and Marcela Familiar added a match-high 16 digs.

Skidmore will play in the Union Invitational on Saturday.
