Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. – Nine different players scored as the Skidmore College women's lacrosse team picked up a 16-3 win over Bard in Friday afternoon's Liberty League matchup.
 
The Thoroughbreds improve to 8-6 overall and 3-4 in the Liberty League, while the Raptors fall to 5-8 overall and 0-5 in league play.
 
Skidmore dominated every facet of the game, running out to a 10-1 lead at halftime. In the end, the Thoroughbreds held a 32-12 edge in shots, a 27-16 advantage in ground balls, and a decided edge in clears. Skidmore went 12-of-14, while Bard went 7-of-22.
 
Senior Lauren Madden led all scorers with four goals and an assist, while freshman Christy Sutherland had three goals, sophomore Summer Segalas had two goals and two assists and senior Ali Evans scored twice. Skidmore got single goals from junior Lexi Melville, sophomore Robin Fetterolf and freshmen Nicole Laplante, Peggy Healy and Laura Ferzoco.
 
Senior Rachel Klein split the goaltending duties with freshman Shelby Witheford. Klein made two saves and Witheford made three.
 
Next up for Skidmore is a Saturday afternoon game at Vassar at 2 p.m.
 
Bard got a goal and an assist from freshman Joanna Regan.
