Saratoga Springs, N.Y.—Skidmore College senior diver
Doug Pilawa broke his own 3-meter diving record in winning both the 3 and 1 meter events as the Thoroughbred men and women hosted Hartwick College, Sunday afternoon at the Williamson Sports Center.
The Hartwick men beat the Thoroughbreds (3-4) 192-97 to remain unbeaten at 14-0, while the Hawk women (11-2) defeated Skidmore (2-5) 170-103.
Pilawa, who has already met the NCAA Division III qualifying scores in both diving events, totaled a record 360.75 to win the 3 meter and won the 1 meter with 310.40.
Also for the men, Nicholas Saurbrunn finished third in the 1000 free in a lifetime best of 10:50.70.
Carrie Koch won the 1000 free for the women, in a lifetime best of 11:19.55.
Logan Jones was third in the 50 free in 23.56 and
Catherine King finished second in both the 200 and 100 free in 2:03.72 and 57.01 respectively.
Katie Kuklewicz was second in the 200 fly (2:30.37) and 100 fly (1:07.40).
The Thoroughbreds host Rensselaer on Jan. 28 at 1 p.m.
