Troy, N.Y.—Freshman Katie Sorochka threw a seven inning no hitter to earn a 5-0 win over Sage College in a non-league softball sweep for the Thoroughbreds. Skidmore won the first game 8-1.

The Thoroughbreds have won four straight to improve to 7-9, while the Gators fall to 8-10.

Sorochka allowed three walks and hit one batter. Christina Hein was 2-3 with solo home run. Julia Schwartz was 1-4 with a two-run double.

In the first game, Charlotte Evans was 2-4 with a two-run double and Catlin Ketchem, went 1-2 with two RBI. Hein was 2-3 with a pair of runs scored. Sam Crose earned the win, allowing one unearned run on five hits with no walks and seven strikeouts.

Skidmore is home Thursday for two against Green Mountain College.
