Williamstown, Mass.-- Williams College took two from the Skidmore College softball team, 4-0 and 7-4 in nonleague action, Tuesday.
In the first game, Williams (16-13-1) scored four runs on five hits. Eph pitcher Megan Casey shut the Thoroughbred offense down, allowing three hits and two walks, striking out 12. Skidmore pitcher
Sam Crose took the loss, allowing three earned runs on five hits and no walks.
In the second game, Skidmore spotted Williams five runs in the bottom of the second fall behind 5-0, but battled back with four in the third to cut it to 5-4. The Ephs tacked on two in the fourth for the 7-4 final.
Julia Schwartz keyed Skidmore's third-inning with a two-run triple.
Carol Brown was 2-3. The teams combined for nine errors in the game.
Skidmore (10-16) travels to Middlebury on Wednesday.
