Colorado Springs, Colo.-- The Skidmore College lacrosse team improved to 2-0 with an easy 19-3 win over Fort Lewis College, Tuesday at Colorado College.
The Thoroughbreds scored the game's first seven goals and never looked back on the way to the win. Fort Lewis, a first-year program, falls to 0-6.
Lindsay Stavola led Skidmore in scoring for the second straight game with four goals and two assists. The Thoroughbreds had goals from 11 different players, including
Kimberly Segalas and
Abbie Klaus who scored three each.
Mackenzie Staub had two goals and two assists. Segalas also had a good defensive game in the midfield.
Rachel Klein had four saves in goal, all in the first half.
Skidmore will play Colorado College on Wednesday.
