Day 1 Results

Schenectady, N.Y.—The Skidmore College men's and women's swimming and diving teams are competing in the Liberty League championships this weekend at Union College and Rensselaer.

Union is the Day 1 leader on the women's side, while Rensselaer leads the men. The meet concludes on Saturday.

For the men, Stephen Lento finished 12th in the 500 freestyle (5:03.91) and Rob Zilinyi took ninth in the 3-Meter Dive with 178.70 points.

Carrie Koch led the women with an eighth in the 500 free in a career best of 5:27.11. In the 200 IM., Katherine Kelloway was 12th in 2:19.79 and Sarah Shaw tied for 16th in 2:21.92. In the 1-meter dive, Kristen Stearns was 11th (258.35) and Krista Pelton took 13th (231.90).
