Williamstown, Mass. – Megan Gaugler had a double/double, but it wasn't enough as the Skidmore College women's basketball team lost 60-55 to Trinity College in the Williams College Invitational, Friday.

The Thoroughbreds (2-3) will face host Williams College in a predetermined match-up on Saturday at 3 p.m. Williams beat Rensselaer 58-47.

Trinity never trailed in the contest, despite Gaugler's 16 points and 14 rebounds. Ismatu Alison-Konteh added 10 points, eight rebounds, and three steals. Michela Ottati hit six of six free throws to finish with eight points.

Skidmore struggled from the floor, shooting 28.1 percent on 18-64 shooting, including 2-18 from beyond the arc.
