Troy, N.Y.--Senior Laura Michel went 10-12 from the floor and 7-7 from the free throw line for a game-high 28 points to lead the Skidmore College women's basketball team to a 74-52 win over Sage College.

The win evens the team's record at 2-2. Sage falls to 0-4.

Michel, playing only 26 minutes, also contributed six rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist in the win.

The Thoroughbreds opened a 39-19 lead at the half, allowing  everyone to play in the in the 22-point win.

Amber Kinsey added 10 points for the Thoroughbreds.  Christina Gargiso had six points, four assists, two blocks, and four steals off the bench. Skidmore's bench outscored Sage 22-8.

The Thoroughbreds host Hartwick on Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
