NHL veteran Brad Chartrand works on skill development for the Thoroughbreds. Chartrand retired from the NHL 2004 after playing five seasons with the Los Angeles Kings. He saw action in 215 regular season games, scoring 25 goals and 25 assists for 50 points. Prior to his professional career, Chartrand was a top collegiate player for Cornell University, receiving the ECAC Hockey Best Defensive Forward Award in 1996. He then played two seasons with Team Canada, appearing in 114 games. Chartrand is active in Saratoga Springs area youth hockey, having coaches in both the Saratoga Youth Hockey and Clifton Park Dynamo programs.
