Nate Ayotte joins the Skidmore College athletic training staff this year after having previously served as an athletic training assistant at Savannah State University. During his 4 years at SSU, Ayotte’s primary coverage included the school’s NCAA Division I men’s basketball program and FCS football team. He also worked with the Tigers baseball, track & field and men’s and women’s golf teams.
Ayotte earned his bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Norwich University in 2010. He was also a member of the men’s ice hockey team that won the 2010 NCAA Division III national championship.
In addition to being an National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) certified athletic trainer and a member of the NATA, Ayotte also holds a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification in Corrective Exercise (CES).
Originally hailing from Waldoboro, Maine, he currently resides in Saratoga Springs.
