Matt Pisani '10 returns to the Skidmore, officially joining the Thoroughbreds as an assistant coach in September. Pisani will serve as the team's hitting coach.
Pisani is no stranger to the Thoroughbreds, helping to lead the Thoroughbreds to Liberty League titles as a player in 2007 and 2010. The lefty played in 155 career games, batting .290 and drove in 108 runs. He was a two-time All-Liberty League selection, earning the honor in 2008 and 2009. He also was named to the Liberty League All-Academic squad in 2010. Since then, the Winchester, Mass. native returned to Skidmore as a volunteer coach in 2017, serving as a hitting instructor.
