Jonathan Kaiser '20 was named the assistant baseball coach at Skidmore in the fall of 2021, where he serves as the head of the Thoroughbred pitching staff.
"We are thrilled to have Jonathan join our coaching staff," Skidmore head coach Ron Plourde said. "He brings great passion, energy, and knowledge to our program. On a personal level, I couldn't be happier to have an alumni join our staff!"
Kaiser joined the staff after a strong career on the mound for the Thoroughbreds. He had a breakout year in his junior season, leading the pitching staff with a 2.95 ERA while averaging a strikeout per inning against just four walks in 18 innings of work. Kaiser earned a three-inning save versus Catholic University early in the 2020 season before the season was halted.
Kaiser used an additional year of eligibility at Division 1 George Mason University in 2021, where he led the team with 14 appearances and was second in wins.
