SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — Skidmore College men's soccer is pleased to announce the addition of Joe Piperata as the program's newest assistant coach. Joe will join head coach Brad Campion, assistant coach Ethan Gunty, and goalkeeper coach Greg Monroe to make up the Skidmore staff.
 
Piperata will work closely with the program in all aspects of the team's daily operations, including coaching and training sessions, recruiting, film analysis, player development, match preparation, and other areas of the program.
 
"I am thrilled to join Skidmore College and begin my first experience in college soccer from the coaching side after four years as a student-athlete," Piperata said. "I am eager to get started, support our student-athletes on and off the field, immerse myself in the program's winning culture, and contribute to the team's continued success."
 
A native of Rensselaer, Piperata's familiarity with the region and its soccer community will provide an important connection for the program.
 
"We are extremely excited to welcome Joe to our staff," said head coach Brad Campion. "Joe brings a genuine understanding of Upstate New York, Skidmore College, and the Saratoga community, which makes him a great fit for our program. Just as importantly, he is eager to learn, grow as a coach, and contribute to creating a positive and meaningful student-athlete experience."
 
Piperata will begin working with the Thoroughbreds immediately as the program prepares for the upcoming season. The Thoroughbreds are set to begin the 2026 season on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at home against Buffalo State.
