  • Title
    Men's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach
Monroe was named the Skidmore men's soccer goalkeeper coach prior to the 2026 season.

As he transitions into coaching full-time with Skidmore and Beestera Soccer Training, Monroe's understanding of the position, professionalism, and competitive mindset make him an outstanding addition to the Skidmore coaching staff.

"Greg will be an amazing addition to our program," said head coach Brad Campion. "His experience competing at a high level, combined with his enthusiasm for coaching, makes him an excellent fit for our student-athletes. We have a history of top goalkeepers at Skidmore, and we're excited for our current goalkeepers to learn from someone like Greg.”

Monroe will oversee the development of Skidmore's goalkeepers, working closely with them throughout training sessions, match preparation, film analysis, and individual development plans. His commitment to technical excellence, decision-making, and leadership from the back will further strengthen an already competitive goalkeeping unit.

“I’m thrilled to join Skidmore as the goalkeeper coach and get my first opportunity to coach at the college level,” said Monroe. "I'm excited to help develop our goalkeepers, build strong relationships with our student-athletes, and contribute to a culture that competes for championships."

With Monroe joining the staff, Skidmore men's soccer continues its commitment to providing its student-athletes with high-level coaching and an environment that promotes both competitive success and long-term player development.
