ITHACA, N.Y. – Ithaca built a steady advantage and held on for a 64-47 Liberty League win over the Skidmore College women's basketball on Friday evening at Ben Light Gymnasium.

• Ithaca (9-15, 6-11 Liberty League) led from the opening tip, outscoring Skidmore in three of four quarters and maintaining control throughout the contest.
• Skidmore (11-13, 9-8 Liberty League) got 13 points from Madison Meyer, who also added two assists, while Claudia Schneider contributed eight points and four rebounds.
• Audrey Bowen scored seven for the Thoroughbreds with a team high 10 rebounds, and Sara Hastie added five points with five rebounds.
• Skidmore shot 34.1 percent from the field (14-of-41) and went 0-of-6 from three-point range, while the Bombers finished at 36.8 percent overall with 7-of-21 from deep.
• The Thoroughbreds hit 19-of-30 (.633) free throws, but Ithaca's balanced scoring and efficiency from the line (15-of-21, .714) helped sustain its lead.
• Skidmore held a 10-8 advantage on the fast break, but turnovers and defensive rebounds by the Bombers limited second-chance opportunities.
• Ithaca was paced by Tori Drevna's 13 points and Grace McNamara's 12, while Zoraida Icabalceta and Simone Pintinalli both scored 10.
• McNamara added 10 rebounds for the double-double, while Icabalceta had five assists and four steals.
• Skidmore will either be the No. 5 or No. 6 seed in the upcoming Liberty League Tournament and will know its opponent following play on Saturday.
